"I used to knit. It was one of the first hobbies I picked up. I was terrible. The hardest part was being on a 12-passenger van when we started, and I had two knitting needles. I was like, “Ima make all you boys scarves! And we’re gonna be the cutest little touring…” It was not a good idea. But, it was hard when we’d go over the bumps in the road, and I would be like, *brings hands towards face* almost stab myself in the eye.
… Yeah, I quit doing that."
Interviewer: So how does it work for the Holidays? When you're in a band and you exchange gifts, are you like, each other's secret santa?
Hayley: Well, I already found Taylor's gift, Jeremy's been hard for me to buy for this year, but ya know... I'm still going for it.
Interviewer: Why are you so hard?
Jeremy: I don't know. My gifts to all of them are usually the strangest things.
Taylor: First gift Jeremy got me was from Crackleberal, it was a mouse, actually there were two mice and they were playing banjo. You press a button and they were playing banjo. Like, "THANKS MAN, THIS IS KILLER!"
"My most memorable moment was when… I was in math class, and my friend was sitting in-front of me. And he turned and like, looked at me. And I was like, ‘what?’ and he turned back around, and then he mooned me. And I was laughing. So we kindda took turns mooning each other in class. And the teacher never saw us!"
Interviewer: What would you do if someone sent you a muffin in the mail?
Hayley: *raises eyebrows in hesitation* I would say.... [sings] "why are you bluffin' with my muffin, muffin, muffin..." I don't know. I would probably test it to make sure it wasn't poison or anything weird. Or had pot in it or something... And then I would eat it.
"Just passed a place called Hot Sauce Williams. Feeling good about myself."
